·         Ethics- What is right and wrong.

·         Seek truth and speak it.

·         Minimize harm.

·         Act independently-don’t take money as it can have an impact towards the public.

·         Be accountable- take responsibility. If you make mistakes, fix them.

·         Objective-getting both sides of the story and saying it neutrally.

·         Subjective-being biased.

·         Get reliable news.

·         Don’t get new from anonymous sources.

·         Make sure quotes aren’t taken out of context.
